Objective:
Design and install a suspended maintenance system for this existing building, which previously did not meet OSHA and ANSI/IWCA I-14.1 requirements for suspended maintenance workers. Most products were welded to steel beams. Because welding sparks were a concern, fire retardant was applied around the roof deck opening to minimize sparks. Summit Anchor Co. tested and certified all anchors after installation. A level was used to determine if any permanent deflection occurred during the anchor test.
