Objective:
Design a code-compliant suspended maintenance system using roof anchors that wrap around steel beams. Wrapping the beam can be necessary when beams are not substantial enough to support the load of a weld to beam type anchor. Wall anchors were also supplied to avoid roof penetrations where possible. Summit Anchor Co. was contracted to test and certify these anchors after they were installed by the contractor, which was successfully done.
