Objective:
Design an OSHA and ANSI/IWCA I-14.1 compliant suspended maintenance system. Roof anchors were laid out at approximately every 6 feet to provide both suspension and fall arrest ropes. Cross bracing was required on the beams below the roof deck for many of the anchors, since they were welded to the midpoints of the beams. After anchors were installed by the general contractor, Summit Anchor Co. certified and tested all anchors.
