Objective:
Work with the architect to design a suspended maintenance system that would protect a cornice made from stucco material. The design included portable outrigger arms that would keep the load of suspension ropes off of the cornice. Roof anchors were placed 9 feet from the inside of the parapet to be used in conjunction with the portable outrigger arms. Anchors were closely spaced to allow the outrigger to be tied to an anchor while the maintenance worker is tied to an adjacent fall arrest anchor.
