Objective:
Design and install a code-compliant suspended maintenance system that utilized several different products to provide thorough and safe access to all parts of the building. Some anchors were recessed below pavers so that the walk area around them could remain unobstructed. Davits were provided so that a maintenance worker’s ropes would not damage the parapet wall cap (see Davits). Rigging sleeves were also provided to allow safe access beneath an overhang in one area of the building (see Rigging Sleeves).
